Learning theatres

Located on the exhibition floor, our six learning theatres will each host inspiring and engaging sessions centred around a key topic within health and care. These spaces provide opportunities to explore evidence-based examples of transformation, to help you understand how your organisation can adapt and adopt good practice.

Each theatre will give you the opportunity to explore what’s working, what’s new and what’s next, leaving you feeling inspired with fresh perspectives and actionable insights to drive transformation for your patients and services.

AI and digital

The AI and digital learning theatre will explore how artificial intelligence and digital technologies are being applied across health and care. Expect to hear about the opportunities and challenges of bringing AI safely into practice, as well as digital topics like the NHS App, electronic patient records, and digital inclusion.

Collaboration and partnerships

In the Collaboration and partnerships learning theatre, the focus will be on working across organisations and boundaries. Discussions will cover NHS collaborations with industry and charities, multi-agency approaches, and joint commissioning models that deliver better outcomes together.

Improvement

The Improvement learning theatre will be dedicated to practical ways of raising quality and efficiency. Sessions will explore approaches to embedding continuous improvement across services and patient experience.

Life sciences and innovation

The Life sciences and innovation learning theatre will showcase the cutting edge of research and discovery. From accessible clinical trials to progressing genomics and personalised medicine, you’ll hear how innovation is being adopted within the NHS to transform care.

Neighbourhood and local integration

The Neighbourhood and local integration learning theatre will highlight examples of integrated care at a localised level. Expect insights into personalised care, social prescribing and how community-led initiatives can strengthen population health.

NHS and society

The NHS and society learning theatre will look outward to the factors shaping health, as well as the role that the NHS plays in wider society. Some sessions will consider the role of wider determinants of health, such as housing and climate change, in improving wellbeing and reducing pressures on the NHS. Others will consider topics like devolution, public service reform, and the links between health and the economy.
